Business and Education Conference: The Ideas that Can Change Education

The event will examine in details one of the major obstacles hindering the Bulgarian longterm development – the poor quality of the education and the lack of bond between it and the business. The event’s aim is to help define a clear vision of the sector and concrete steps towards reforming it.

The partnership between the business and the universities is crucial in order to attain a knowledge-based economy, to create a competitive environment, to attract investments and European employers.

The most significant result from the educational reform efforts is measured by the improvement of people’s way of living – creating opportunities to realize them thoroughly.
We will invite to the conference representatives of all stakeholders and we will give the possibility for an open discussion, in which the participants could share ideas and search for working solutions. We will show working synergy models from other countries.

The focus in the program will be on what the business expects from the education and how those
expectations can become part of the university curricula.
