Peter Kurer Peter Kurer

Peter Kurer is a former business executive and lawyer. In his last corporate posi- tion, Peter Kurer was Chairman of UBS. He now works as an advisor.
Peter Kurer obtained law degrees both from University of Zurich and University of Chicago. Following his studies, he was a law clerk at the Zurich District Court. Peter Kurer was admitted to the Zurich bar in 1980 and then joined the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie where he became a partner in 1985. Since 1990, Peter Kurer was a partner of the Zurich law firm Homburger and head of its Corporate Law Practice Group. He specialized in M&A and corporate law and also served on a number of boards of public and private companies.
In 2001, Peter Kurer joined UBS as its General Counsel; he also became a member of UBS’ Group Executive Board in 2002. In April 2008, Peter Kurer was elected Chairman of UBS for a one year term. He did not seek re-election in 2009 and retired.
Peter Kurer has regularly published articles on M&A topics, corporate governance issues, financial services regulation and evolution of the legal profession. He is a frequent speaker on these topics.
Peter Kurer now works as an expert advisor on corporate finance transactions, corporate governance, financial services regulation, and legal management.
In 2010 the Central European law firm Schoenherr has appointed Peter Kurer as external member of its Strategy Committee. The role of Mr. Kurer is to provide Schoenherr’s management with an outside and expert view in developing and carrying out the firm’s strategy.

- Prior to that role, Thierry was a Project Manager at the Bank of New York and a number of other organisations

Mihail Atanasov Mihail Atanasov

Mihail Atanasov is Chairman of the Managing Board and Executive Director of Raiffeisen Asset Management Bulgaria. He has been working for the company since 2006 and he has successively held the positions of Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of Department "Portfolio Management" and Executive Director. During the period 2009 - 2012 Mihail Atanasov is member of the Managing Board of Raiffeisen Asset Management and Head of Department "Liquidity and Investments" of Raiffeisenbank Bulgaria.
Mr. Atanasov has long experience in operations on the Bulgarian capital market and in professional asset management. He has a Master degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy, Bulgaria. He holds a stockbroker certificate and a certificate for investment consultant. He is fluent in English and Russian.

Joachim Hagmann Joachim Hagmann

Joachim Hagmann joined the sales Austria team at RCM in 2000 and became a client portfolio manager in the asset allocation team in 2003. He was responsible for the communication of investment strategy to mainly institutional clients and had portfolio management responsibilities for various funds of funds. 2008 he joined the product management as Senior Investment Specialist and is responsible for multi asset strategy funds and communication of multi asset investment strategies. Prior to joining RCM, he worked as foreign exchange manager, assistant branch manager and mutual fund expert at various Austrian banks.
Mr. Hagmann qualified as Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM), Assessment & Credit Banker, Sales Trainer (GGB) and Sales Advisor (DFB).

Graduated in Economics in University of Montpellier, France, later accomplished an Executive MBA in IE Business School. Have worked for Societe Generale, KPMG Corporate Finance and as Country Manager for Pioneer Investments.

Daniel Ganev Daniel Ganev

Daniel Ganev is Managing Director at Karoll Capital Management. In this capacity he oversees the administrative duties of the firm, the overall business strategy and product development, and serves on several investment committees. In 2003 Daniel pioneered the first local stock fund – Advance Invest Mutual Fund, and became its Portfolio Manager. Before this project, Daniel worked at Karoll as a Capital Markets Analyst. 
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Ganev received professional training in the USA at Merrill Lynch, SG Cowen New York, Sony Electronics, and then served in the army. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from William Paterson University - USA and an MBA from Cambridge University - U.K.  He also holds an Investment Consultant license by the FSA.  Mr. Ganev serves as a Board member at the Bulgarian Association of Asset Management Companies (BAAMC), where he chairs the International Relations Committee.  He has numerous publications and interviews in the media, and regularly attends business meetings and seminars at financial hubs in Europe, America and Asia.
